What's new
Every update, newest first
eDocYouSign updates itself, so you always have the latest features and security fixes, with nothing to install. Your documents stay end-to-end encrypted through every update.
- Version 2.32October 25, 2026
The eDocYouSign logo in every email Latest
- Every email from eDocYouSign (sign-in, invitations, signing requests, completed documents, billing and support) now shows the eDocYouSign logo icon at the top.
- Site operators get a new Email → Logo in the inbox section with the exact DNS records (DMARC and BIMI) that show the logo next to the sender in Yahoo, AOL and Fastmail, and in Gmail and Apple Mail once a logo certificate is added.
- Fix (2.31.1): the Refund button on Payments now offers Confirm it's you instead of being greyed out after 15 minutes.
- Version 2.31October 25, 2026
Invoices and receipts with the eDocYouSign logo
- Every payment has a branded invoice or receipt with the eDocYouSign logo, our company details, your billing details, the plan and period, tax, total and the card used.
- Open it from Billing → Payment history and print it or save it as a PDF. Unpaid invoices have a Pay this invoice button.
- Site operators set the company name, address, tax ID and footer on Payments → Stripe settings.
- Version 2.30October 25, 2026
Test every checkout without a real card
- Payment testing page for site operators: with a Stripe test key, run every checkout (plans, yearly offers, plan changes, storage, support, refunds, signer payments, photo ID checks) using Stripe's test cards. No money moves.
- Tests run in a separate internal workspace that doesn't count towards revenue, and a checklist ticks off each checkout as it's confirmed.
- While a site uses a test key, Billing and Storage show a test-mode note with the test card to use.
- Version 2.29October 25, 2026
Documents in Backblaze, backups twice a day, and instant plan changes
- Documents stored in Backblaze B2. Encrypted documents, signed copies, PowerForms and templates are kept in private, encrypted Backblaze buckets instead of on the web server.
- Backups twice a day in two separate time windows, encrypted, kept for 30 days by default.
- Snapshots of every file and record, kept for 30, 60 or 90 days. Restore one into a new bucket to inspect it, or back into the site; a safety backup is taken first. Delete several backups at once.
- Change plan or storage yourself on the Billing and Storage pages. You get access straight away, and the price difference is charged or credited automatically.
- The Free plan now includes 2 envelopes a month and 1 GB of encrypted storage.
- The Email page can send a test to any address, and with SendGrid can test without the PHP mail() fallback, so SendGrid's own answer shows. When a fallback sent an email, the log now says why SendGrid didn't.
- Fixed: choosing a yearly plan with the founding-customer offer failed with "Invalid string … must be at most 40 characters".
- Version 2.28October 24, 2026
Move your site to a new address
- Site address page for site operators: move the whole site, including the website, app, signing pages and API, to a new domain such as edocyousign.com in one step.
- Before anything changes, we check that the new address serves this same site over https.
- Every old link keeps working: the old address redirects to the same page on the new one, including signing links in emails already sent and the QR code on signed documents.
- The Stripe webhook moves automatically. Twilio replies, cron jobs and SSL renewal keep working on the old address while you update them.
- A checklist gives the exact new addresses for Google and Apple sign-in, Twilio, cron, SSO and Search Console. You can move back from the same page.
- Version 2.27October 24, 2026
Text message codes ready for carrier registration
- Clear consent for signers: the signing page explains the text message program next to Text me a code, with rates, STOP and HELP, and links to the new SMS terms. Nothing is texted until the signer asks, and each request is recorded in the audit trail.
- STOP, START and HELP replies: a signed Twilio webhook answers keywords with branded replies. Numbers that opt out are never texted again until they reply START.
- Code messages start with eDocYouSign, never include the document's name, and say how to opt out.
- New public SMS Terms page, and SMS sections in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, as US carriers require for A2P 10DLC.
- The SMS settings page shows the webhook address, keywords and replies to paste into Twilio.
- Version 2.26October 24, 2026
Usage and capacity at a glance
- Usage & capacity page for site operators: emails and text messages sent today, in 7 days and in 30 days, failures, and what your email method and Twilio allow, including your Twilio balance and SendGrid plan credits.
- Storage virtual provisioning: physical disk from your hosting plan, what's used, what's promised to every workspace, and how many times over it's subscribed.
- Forecasts for 3, 6 and 12 months: storage used, disk needed with 20% kept free, the hosting plan that fits, when the disk would fill, and email and text volume against your limits.
- The operator Dashboard shows a summary card, and a daily snapshot builds the history the forecasts use.
- The website footer now lists all six industries, each opening its own tab.
- Version 2.25October 21, 2026
Enterprise readiness: controls, SLA and evidence
- Security controls matrix: a public page listing 21 controls, each mapped to the SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria, with where an auditor or buyer can see the evidence.
- Service level agreement: availability target, support response times by plan, incident severity and update times, backups with recovery objectives, and service credits.
- Evidence pack: on the Compliance page, admins download one .zip with members and roles (with authenticator status), security settings and 12 months of audit log with hashes. Site operators also get the security check and SOC 2 readiness results.
- The Trust Center and website footer link the new pages, and the readiness checklist reminds you to fill in their highlighted details.
- Version 2.24October 21, 2026
Run the security check any time
- Run security check button on the Security check page re-runs every server and website check and shows the result at the top: problems, recommendations and passed.
- Refresh every 5 minutes while the page is open, handy while you fix your hosting settings.
- The page shows when the last full run happened, who ran it, and your last 7 runs.
- The check also runs by itself once a day and emails site operators when a new problem appears.
- Version 2.23October 21, 2026
Set up text messages in a few clicks
- SMS settings page for site operators: paste your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token, choose a phone number or Messaging Service, and we check them with Twilio before saving.
- Send yourself a test message, pause SMS codes, or disconnect Twilio at any time.
- A delivery log shows each text's result with the number masked. Message text is never stored, because it contains signers' codes.
- Branding shows the exact logo sizes: best 1000 × 200 pixels, and any logo from 150 × 30 to 4000 × 4000, up to 1 MB.
- Version 2.22October 20, 2026
Get paid while you get signed, and install the app
- Payment fields. Connect your own Stripe account on the new Get paid page, then add a Payment field with an amount. Signers pay by card on Stripe before they finish, the money goes straight to you, and the receipt number is printed on the signed document. eDocYouSign adds no fee.
- Install eDocYouSign on your phone, tablet or computer from your browser's menu (Add to Home Screen, or Install app). It opens like an app, with shortcuts to New envelope and Templates.
- Trust Center. A public page that explains our security model, compliance status, controls, subprocessors, incident response and how to report a vulnerability, with a HIPAA business associate agreement template.
- Compliance page for workspace admins: export your audit log as CSV or JSON, with the hash for every entry. Site operators also get a SOC 2 readiness checklist that checks this site's own settings.
- Version 2.21October 20, 2026
Know who signed: SMS codes, photo ID and in-person signing
- Text message codes. Add a signer's mobile number under Extra checks. Before the document opens, they confirm a 6-digit code we text them. It's on top of the access code, so a forwarded link isn't enough.
- Photo ID checks with Stripe Identity. The signer photographs their driver's license, passport or ID card and takes a selfie. The name on the ID must match the name you entered. $1.50 per check, added to your next invoice.
- Sign in person. Signing at your desk or on a visit? Choose Sign in person on the envelope and hand over your device. No access code to type, and the certificate says who hosted it.
- Text the access code from your phone. One tap opens your messages app with the code, so it never passes through eDocYouSign.
- The certificate of completion and audit trail now show how each signer was identified.
- Available on Solo, Team, Business and Enterprise.
- Version 2.20October 20, 2026
Templates, bulk send and smarter fields
- Templates. Save any envelope, with its fields, signer roles and message, and start new envelopes from it in one click. Templates are encrypted end to end like your envelopes: using one needs its template code, which your code vault can fill in for you.
- Share a template with your workspace, rename it, make it private or delete it. The Free plan includes 3 templates; paid plans are unlimited.
- Bulk send (Team plan and above). Paste a list of names and emails, or a spreadsheet, and send one document to up to 200 people. Each person gets their own envelope with its own access code, and you download every code as a CSV.
- New fields: dropdown, multiple choice, number, phone, company and job title.
- Conditional fields. Show a field only when a checkbox is ticked or a certain answer is chosen. Hidden fields are skipped and send nothing.
- Version 2.18October 20, 2026
Try Team free, and switch without paying twice
- 14-day Team trial, no card. Every new workspace gets every Team feature for 14 days, then moves to Free unless you choose a plan. Nothing you made is lost.
- The Free plan now includes 5 envelopes a month.
- Switching from DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat Sign, Dropbox Sign or PandaDoc? Ask on your Billing page for up to 3 months free on a yearly plan, and we'll set up 10 of your templates.
- Founding customers get 20% off their first year on a yearly plan: the first 300, until March 31, 2027.
- Team and Business are 10% off for each user from the 11th, automatically, including for existing customers as they grow.
- Nonprofits and schools get 25% off. Refer another company and you both get a month free, up to $100. Yearly plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
- Enterprise now starts at $27.90 per user a month, billed yearly, for 25 or more users.
- Version 2.17October 20, 2026
New plans for 2027, with much more storage
- Included storage is now 10 GB on Solo, 20 GB per user on Team and 50 GB per user on Business, shared across your workspace. Free keeps 2 GB.
- New prices for new customers: Solo $15 a month ($12 billed yearly), Team $24 per user ($19 yearly) and Business $39 per user ($31 yearly). Yearly billing always saves 20%.
- If you already pay, your price doesn't change, and you get the extra storage at no cost.
- Storage packs now go up to 5 TB, from $5 for 100 GB. Priority support is $59 and Premium 24×7 support $199 a month per workspace. Business and Enterprise include Priority support at no extra cost.
- Analytics on our website is now opt-in: we ask before using Google Analytics cookies, never use them for ads, and never load them in the app or on documents.
- Enterprise is quoted from $35 per user a month, billed yearly, for 25 or more users.
- Version 2.16October 19, 2026
Start over in one click
- A new Start over button in the envelope editor clears the document, recipients, fields and message so you can begin a new envelope. It asks first, and nothing is sent.
- Faster updates: your browser now always picks up the newest version of the app after an update.
- Version 2.15October 19, 2026

- Extra storage packs: add another pack in one click, and see your storage right on the Billing page.
- Version 2.14October 19, 2026

- Version 2.13October 19, 2026

- Agents can put a call on hold with soft music; mute works on both sides.
- A built-in microphone check tests your microphone, speakers and network, and shows how to turn the microphone on in your browser.
- Fixed: voice calls could fail because the microphone was blocked by a server setting.
- Version 2.12October 18, 2026
Account and workspace removal
- When you ask us to close an account or workspace, we can now remove it completely, including its documents and settings. Your payment records stay for your accounting.
- Version 2.11October 2026
